This is Go Farm JA's main product. In accordance to this years theme 2025, we came up with an idea of making biogas as a way of conserving the environment. We resolved that people instead of cutting trees for firewood and charcoal, more so in villages , they would resort to using the affordable and renewable biogas.
Biogas is the type of renewable energy produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic matter.
Advantages of Biogas
- It's renewable, affordable and environmentally friendly.
- It is cost effective as our raw materials are got directly from the farm and anyone can afford.
Our raw materials are fresh cow dung, fresh cow urine and clean water.
Biogas is a multipurpose project. It is used for cooking and at the same time lighting as an electric advantage.
TARGET CUSTOMERS
Our target customers are teachers at our school, the parents more so those who usually come on visitation days, restaurant owners and the people in our community Mannya.
PRODUCTION PROCESS OF BIOGAS
We get fresh cow dung and mixed it with fresh cow urine and clean water until the solution became light porridge like or heavy soap like. We then put the solution into a biogas digester for storing. The solution was stored for 5 days under sunshine for the biogas reactions to take place. After the 5 days, our biogas was ready for use .
UNIQUENESS OF BIOGAS
Biogas doesn't fluctuate. The gas can turned into electric energy. It's environmental friendly as it's making doesn't affect the environment. It favors everyone in their calibers.
